On 27 January 2016, Helga Stevens MEP and Martina Anderson MEP organised a Public Hearing on the INI Report on the Concluding Observations of the UNCRPD. This took place in the European Parliament in Brussels.
Our Executive Director, Mark Wheatley and President, Markku Jokinen took the opportunity to advocate about various EUD priorities by networking and meeting with stakeholders, with the intent of informing and changing attitudes about matters concerning sign language.
