SWING CAMPUS
The SWING CAMPUS project (2024-2027) is the third iteration of a series of projects aimed to create repositories of field specific signs to aid in higher education settings. The project aims to advance inclusion in higher education by equipping future teachers with sign language skills (LIS, LSE, DGS, ÖGS, IS), enhancing communication access for deaf and hard of hearing students. The consortium, comprising partners from Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria and Belgium (EUD), will develop video dictionaries, online learning modules, and teacher training materials to support sign language integration in academic fields. EUD’s involvement includes contributing to curating and creating vocabulary resources, disseminating results among key stakeholders, and ensuring inclusive and accessible practices are mainstreamed throughout the project. The project will begin at the end of 2024.
