On 13 May prior the EUD General Assembly (16 May) taking place in Riga, Latvia. There were a window of opportunity for the EUD President, Markku Jokinen and WFD President, Colin Allen to co-operate together to outreach to the Latvian Deaf community. They took the opportunity to share the knowledge of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Also we pressed the matter regarding the UNCRPD that is vital for the Latvian Deaf community as we encourage the interest for the deaf association to co-operate more regarding the Parallel Report. We thank the Latvian Deaf Association for their hard working and being the hosts of the seminar.
