On the 10th of June, EUD was present at the European Commission work forum on the UNCRPD. The title of this year’s forum was ‘Consolidating the ground for implementation: 10 years after the UNCRPD’. Representatives of NGOs and Human Rights centres across Europe participated in this event. Participants discussed ways to ensure that the human rights of persons with disabilities are at least maintained and possibly improved upon, as well as strategies to protect them from decline. EUD attended the conference in order to ask questions and to ensure that we are on the right track.
