Who I am
I’m Helga Stevens, from Ghent, Belgium, and I am Vice President of the European Union of the Deaf (EUD). I am responsible for the Deaf Lawyers Group.
What I want to achieve
My vision for EUD is that we are the voice of deaf people and of our National Associations of the Deaf (NADs). Our role is to bring their needs to the EU level, to the European Parliament and the European Commission, and to make sure deaf people are heard where decisions are made.
